(French follows) ENG// During this class we shall explain what is 'glaze', what magic happens in the kiln, how to read the glaze samples, how to glaze by pouring / dipping / painting, and what our studio security rules are. We shall explain all this during the first hour to then accompany you in the glazing of your work for the rest of the session. This glazing session is for ..... * Those who followed a throwing course, or the mould workshop and have not yet glazed in our studio * Those who where not able to attend the glazing evening of their pottery intro course * Non members who have bisque-fired work at our studio and who wish to glaze them here to then fire them at 1250° After following this class you will be welcome to come glaze more independently in our studio during member hours (see members page) Important : *You need to have have bisque-fired work in our workshop in order to have work to glaze during this class ! We do not provide objects for you to glaze * The firing of the work is not included unless you have followed one of our intro courses : hand-building/throwing /mould-making. ----------------------- FR// Ce cours vous expliquera ce que c'est l'émail, la magie qui se passe dans le four, comment lire les échantillons, comment émailler en trempant / coulant / peignant, et les critères de sécurité de notre atelier. Nous parlerons de tous cela la première heure pour ensuite vous accompagner dans l'émaillage de vos pièces pendant les 2 heures restantes. Cette soirée émaillage est pour..... * ceux qui ont suivi le stage de tournage, ou le workshop moule et qui n'ont pas encore émaillé dans notre atelier * ceux qui n'ont pas pu assister à leur séance émaillage du stage intro à la poterie * les non-membres qui ont biscuité des pièces chez nous et qui souhaitent les émailler et les cuire à 1250° C Après ce cours vous pourriez venir émailler à l'atelier plus en autonomie pendant les heures de members (voir page des membres) IMPORTANT : * Il faut avoir des pièces biscuitées dans notre atelier pour avoir de quoi tester l'émail ! Nous ne fournissons pas de tessons. * la cuisson des pièces n'est pas inclue dans le forfait sauf si vous avez suivi le stage d'intro poterie, le stage tournage ou le workshop moule chez nous.

If for medical reasons or any other reason you are unable to attend your booked course/workshop/member session, you can be refunded, or reprogram to a future date, or find a remplacement according to the time delays below : FOR ALL INTRO COURSES / LEVEL 2 COURSES / PRIVATE WORKSHOPS / KIDS : ** Booking refundable/reprogrammable if informed MORE THAN 2 WEEKS in advance of start date (minus 5% booking fee if refunded) ** Booking refunded/reprogrammable by 50% if informed LESS THAN TWO WEEKS in advance of start date, unless a replacement is found by you or us (minus 5% booking fee if refunded 50%) ** Booking not refundable/reprogrammable LESS THEN 1 WEEK before the start date unless a replacement is found by you FOR MEMBER SESSIONS : **Bookings can be cancelled or modified MINIMUM 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE **Less than 3 days before, you shall be accounted for your booking unless you find a replacement with another member on our community Facebook group "Mud Gang" (Reprogramming a booking to a future date may be limited to our studio/staff availability. Bookings can be postponed for maximum 6 months.) FOR FIRING DROP-OFF OR PICK-UP BOOKINGS : Please inform us by email as soon as possible if you can no longer attend your chosen rendez-vous slot
