Shelf Space: The Studio will provide the Resident with a designated shelf for storing work and materials.
Clay Usage: The Resident may use up to 10 kg of stoneware clay per month. Unused clay does not roll over to the following month. Additional clay beyond this amount will be charged separately. Recycled porcelain is counted at twice its weight: 500 g counts as 1 kg toward the monthly limit.
Kiln Priority: The Resident will have priority access to the kiln, provided their pieces are ready for firing and a staff member has been clearly notified. The staff will do their best to fire Residents' pieces as soon as reasonably possible, taking into account the overall volume of work and kiln capacity. A dedicated shelf area is available.
Studio Hours: The Resident may work in the Studio from 9am to 10pm. Studio occupancy will be shared at the beginning of each week in the Residents' WhatsApp group. Availability of workspaces depends on Studio occupancy. The upstairs workspace will only be available if the downstairs area is inaccessible or at full capacity and the upstairs space is free. This arrangement may change as the Studio evolves.
Cost: The residency fee is €300 per month, payable on the first day of your next residency month, within 15 days. Firings are not included in this amount and will be charged separately.
Invoices: Monthly invoices can be issued upon request for the Resident’s records.
Studio Use: The residency is for the Resident's personal use only. The Resident may not use the Studio for gatherings, events, or visits by friends and family.
Residency Continuity: The residency fee is payable monthly and cannot be paused. Much like rent, the Resident remains responsible for the monthly fee even during absences such as holidays. A Resident wishing to take a break may terminate the Agreement after at least three months with one month's written notice, clear their shelf and materials, and reapply for a new residency period of at least three months upon their return.
Session Attendance & Booking: While regular members must cancel their session bookings 48 hours in advance, the Resident is granted the flexibility to cancel up to two hours before the session starts. The Studio provides this privilege to support the Resident's practice; however, the Resident is expected to use it responsibly. Booking a spot and not attending, or cancelling at the very last minute, prevents other members from accessing the Studio and leaves the workspace empty. While the Studio prefers to maintain a relationship of trust with Residents, consistent last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a temporary suspension of the Resident's booking privileges.
Access and Security: The Resident will receive an access code for the Studio entrance. The Resident agrees not to share this code with anyone, to always lock the door securely when entering or exiting, and to lock the door with the physical key after 10pm. The Resident understands that misuse of these access privileges may result in immediate code deactivation.
