The perfect way to try your hands at the potterโs wheel, no experience needed! ๐ WORKSHOP PROGRAM ๐ Weโll start with a light-hearted clay warm-up to get everyone relaxed and familiar with the material. Then, weโll move on to the basics of wheel throwing: how to center clay on the wheel and shape it into a small functional form, an elegant candle holder! This workshop is designed as a first-time discovery experience. Working on the wheel is a fun but challenging technique, so expect to enjoy the process more than perfect results! If youโre looking for guaranteed outcomes, we recommend trying our Hand-Building Introduction Workshop instead. The last 30 minutes of the session will be dedicated to cleaning up your wheel stations together, part of the full pottery experience! ๐ FINAL PIECES ๐ At the end of the session, youโll each select two of your favorite pieces to be fired. Our team will handle the glazing with a clear, glossy finish, making your work smooth, bright, and ready for use. Your finished pieces will be available for pickup 2 to 3 weeks after the workshop. ๐ LANGUAGE ๐ The workshop is conducted in English. It may also be offered in French or Spanish. ๐ MINIMUM AGE ๐ Suitable for ages 12 and up. ๐ PRICE ๐ ๐ธ From 50โฌ per person ๐ธ Group size: 4 to 25 participants ๐ BOOKING ๐ Select your preferred date and time on our calendar by clicking the โRequest to Bookโ button (please book at least 2 weeks in advance). Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change and that it may sometimes be necessary to cancel your workshop. To ensure fairness for both our participants and instructors, the following cancellation policy applies: ๐ฅ 1. Booking and Deposit To secure your booking, a deposit of 200โฌ is required. ๐ฅ 2. Final Number of Participants You must confirm the final number of participants at least 2 business days before the workshop date. This confirmed number will serve as the minimum for billing purposes. If more participants attend on the day, the price will be adjusted based on Studio Kiwiโs published pricing structure. ๐ฅ 3. Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@studio-kiwi.com ๐ฅ 4. Refund Policy: ๐ธ More than 2 weeks before the workshop date: The deposit will be refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee. ๐ธ Between 1 and 2 weeks before the workshop date: The deposit will be refunded, minus a 25% administrative fee. ๐ธ Less than 1 week before the workshop date: The deposit is non-refundable. ๐ฅ 5. Cancellations by Studio Kiwi: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund of the workshop fee. We will also do our best to notify you as soon as possible and to find a new date for the workshop. By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this cancellation policy.
