🔅 DROP-OFFS 🔅 Drop-off appointments are available on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. Please book your appointment in advance to ensure we can properly receive and handle your work. If you’re firing with us for the first time, please make sure you meet all the conditions below before coming to your appointment, there’s no need to email us beforehand. ⚠️ BEFORE YOU COME ⚠️ Please make sure that: 🔸 Your work fits within our kiln dimensions (50×50×60 cm). 🔸 You know which temperature you wish to fire at (950°C or 1250°C). 🔸 You have a photo of your clay label, and if glazed, photos of your glaze labels. 🔸 Your work is clearly signed or marked. 🔸 Your pieces can be handled and loaded by one person. 🔸 No piece is thicker than 3 cm, or it has been properly hollowed. 🔸 Your work is free of trapped air. 🔸 You bring protective plates if using glazes that might drip. 🔸 You arrive 10–15 minutes early if you have more than 10 items, to allow time for unpacking. 💡 Tip: It’s safest to transport unfired clay while still leather-hard rather than completely dry. If in doubt, you can either book your drop-off and we’ll discuss the piece together at the studio, or email us a photo and a short description beforehand for confirmation. 🔅 PRICE 🔅 €5 per drop-off appointment, plus a volume-based fee calculated at the studio: 🔸 €0.03 per cube for 950°C firing 🔸 €0.05 per cube for 1250°C firing (Preferential rates apply for pieces made during member sessions.) 🔅 PAYMENT 🔅 By Payconiq or cash at the time of drop-off. 🔅 CONDITIONS 🔅 Ceramic firing always involves some risk. While we do our best to minimize issues, please be aware of the following: 🔸 We may refuse to fire any piece that could risk damaging the kiln or other works. 🔸 We may also refuse extremely fragile or complex pieces that cannot be safely handled. 🔸 If your work causes damage:  - €10 fee per small glaze drip on our kiln  - €75 fee for a new kiln shelf if the damage is more than a small stain  - Twice the firing volume fee for other affected pieces  - Additional maintenance costs if other kiln parts are damaged 🔸 If our team damages your work, we will refund your firing fee and offer a firing credit of the same volume.
