Two full days to deepen your throwing skills and challenge your limits β¨ This workshop is designed for potters who already have some experience on the wheel and are ready to take it further. Whether you want to master form, refine proportions, or simply gain confidence by throwing again and again; this 2-day intensive will give you the tools and the time. Led by Catalina, this immersive course combines demonstrations, personalized guidance, and hours of focused practice. Youβll be encouraged to work with larger amounts of clay, explore new shapes, and develop consistency in your technique. Catalina meets you where you are, then helps you go a step further, or two! π PROGRAM π Over two days, youβll explore: π Throwing with intention: form, volume, rhythm π Controlling proportions and achieving balance in your shapes π Working with larger weights of clay π Improving wall consistency and repetition π Exploring complex forms: closed shapes, jars, vases, bowls, sets π Developing your own throwing sequences and habits The format mixes short demos, one-on-one feedback, and extended hands-on practice blocks. Youβll be throwing all day, with purpose. π PRICE π πΈ Includes all the clay, the use of tools, two full days of instruction and all thrown and trimmed pieces made during the workshop. πΈ Glazing is not included in the base price. See "Glazing & Finishing" below. π WHO IS IT FOR? π This course is intended for people who already feel comfortable centering and pulling up walls. Itβs perfect for those who want to push past a plateau, try new forms, or simply strengthen their foundation with expert guidance and focused time at the wheel. π SMALL GROUP π The group is limited to 7 participants, ensuring a high level of personal attention and a supportive atmosphere. Expect a lot of clay, a lot of learning and a lot of fun. π GLAZING & FINISHING π After the workshop, your finished pieces will be bisque-fired to 950Β°C. π Cancellation Policy : Our workshops fill up quickly and rely on a minimum number of participants to run. To ensure fairness for both our participants and instructors, the following policy applies: π₯ 1. Cancellation by You All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@studio-kiwi.com. πΈ More than 2 weeks before the workshop date:\ Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee, or rescheduled at no cost. πΈ Between 1 and 2 weeks before the workshop date:\ 50% of the workshop fee refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee.\ π If a replacement is found for your spot (by you or Studio Kiwi), the workshop can be rescheduled at no cost. πΈ Less than 1 week before the workshop date:\ The workshop fee is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.\ π If a replacement is found for your spot (by you or Studio Kiwi), the workshop can be rescheduled at no cost. πΈ No-shows:\ If you do not attend without notifying us in advance, the workshop fee is forfeit with no refund, no credit, and no rescheduling. π₯ 2. Cancellations by Studio Kiwi If we need to cancel a workshop before it takes place, you will receive a full refund. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible and to find a new date. πΈ If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will contact you at least 24 hours in advance to offer a full refund or a new date. By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this cancellation policy.
