ITS CLAY TIME BABY ! LEARNING AT YOUR OWN RYTHM: Member session are not set up as a 'class' format, but a chance for you to learn and work more autonomously on your clay projects, using all the tools and equipment in our shared studio, inspired by other members around you, and with the technical support of friendly staff when needed. IN THE STUDIO : * Each table has its own kit of the fundamental tools you will need for hand-building. Our shelves provide more tools and equipment * 5 stoneware clays and porcelaine are purchasable by the kilo at the studio (recycled or straight from quarry) * there are 12 coloured slips (engobes) and more than 18 glazes to chose from * Firings are paid according to volume of each piece prior to bisque firing * We ask all members to follow our safety tips to ensure we can continue pottering until we are 99 STAFF : A qualified ceramicist is always present at the studio to welcome you, guide you in the studio space and with tools, support your projects when needed, and ensure general order of workshop. Our staff members are all bilingual, either English-French or English-Dutch, with the aim of welcoming as much as possible in the language you are most comfortable in. IDEAL AFTER AN INTRODUCTION COURSE As ceramics is a technical craft, it is important that you follow one of our introduction courses (hand-building / throwing / glazing) before booking a member session. We want to ensure everyone starts off their clay journey well accompanied and informed. During member sessions, our staff is there in case you need advice, but not available for full-on beginners tutoring. STORAGE : As we are a small studio, storage needs to be well managed. We provide personal storage space for members during their membership pass, but not for those who book a one-off member session. Personal storage boxes are to be emptied at the end of your pass. MEMBERSHIP PASS : For more interesting price value and for best ceramic practice of regular weekly attention, we recommend purchasing member sessions with a membership passes ! (purchasable on the next step when you click 'book now' on this page) BOOKING JUST 1 MEMBERS SESSION : We propose the option of booking just one member session for members who just need to glaze last work, or finish a project. It is not meant for coming in just once or sporadically as their are at least 3 different stages to the ceramic process, each needing attention and storage space.

Cancellation Policy

If for medical reasons or any other reason you are unable to attend your booked course/workshop/member session, you can be refunded, or reprogram to a future date, or find a remplacement according to the time delays below : FOR ALL INTRO COURSES / LEVEL 2 COURSES / PRIVATE WORKSHOPS / KIDS : ** Booking refundable/reprogrammable if informed more than 2 weeks in advance of start date (minus 5% booking fee if refunded) ** Booking refunded/reprogrammable by 50% if informed less than 2 weeks in advance of start date, unless a replacement is found by you or us (minus 5% booking fee if refunded 50%) ** Booking not refundable/reprogrammable less than 1 week before the start date unless a replacement is found by you FOR MEMBER SESSIONS : **Bookings can be cancelled or modified on your online account minimum 2 days in advance **Less than 2 days before, you shall be accounted for your booking unless you find a replacement with another member on our community Facebook group "Mud Gang". FOR FIRING DROP-OFF OR PICK-UP BOOKINGS : Please inform us by email as soon as possible if you can no longer attend your chosen rendez-vous slot so we can allows others to book
