A whole new material to tame: plaster! β¨ This hands-on workshop will give you the basic knowledge and skills to make your own one-part moulds of two small objects, which youβll then be able to reproduce in multiples by slip casting. At the end of the workshop, the goal is for you to have two plaster moulds ready to dry. After about 10 days of drying, youβll be able to test them with casting slip during a member session. π PROGRAM π πΈ Exercises to understand the negative and positive of shapes πΈ Learn how to recognize which objects can be moulded in one part (and which require more) πΈ Preparing the box frame for your two small objects πΈ Mixing plaster, learning the right tools and techniques πΈ Completing two moulds, ready to dry before testing with slip casting π Please note: to ensure you finish within the timeframe, the size of your objects will be limited. π PRICE π πΈ β¬189 πΈ Includes: All plaster and tools needed to create your moulds Casting slip to test each mould once (about 10 days later, during a member session) Firing of your first slip-casted piece (1 per mould) Not included: glazing time nor the member session needed to come back to cast your pieces. Members can glaze and cast their pieces during member sessions. Non-members can join a Glazing Intro class to glaze their bisque-fired work. π LEVEL π Open to beginners, no previous plaster experience needed. π SMALL GROUP π πΈ Maximum 6 participants (12 hands) for personalized guidance πΈ Minimum 4 participants required for the workshop to take place (otherwise rescheduled or refunded) Please wear clothes that can get messy! β οΈ TERMS & CONDITIONS β οΈ πΈ Plaster moulds need about 10 days of drying before testing. πΈ Pieces cannot be taken home immediately.

π Cancellation Policy : Our workshops fill up quickly and rely on a minimum number of participants to run. To ensure fairness for both our participants and instructors, the following policy applies: π₯ 1. Cancellation by You All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@studio-kiwi.com. πΈ More than 2 weeks before the workshop date:\ Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee, or rescheduled at no cost. πΈ Between 1 and 2 weeks before the workshop date:\ 50% of the workshop fee refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee.\ π If a replacement is found for your spot (by you or Studio Kiwi), the workshop can be rescheduled at no cost. πΈ Less than 1 week before the workshop date:\ The workshop fee is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.\ π If a replacement is found for your spot (by you or Studio Kiwi), the workshop can be rescheduled at no cost. πΈ No-shows:\ If you do not attend without notifying us in advance, the workshop fee is forfeit with no refund, no credit, and no rescheduling. π₯ 2. Cancellations by Studio Kiwi If we need to cancel a workshop before it takes place, you will receive a full refund. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible and to find a new date. πΈ If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will contact you at least 24 hours in advance to offer a full refund or a new date. By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this cancellation policy.
