A whole new material to tame: plaster! ✨ This hands-on workshop will give you the basic knowledge and skills to make your own one-part moulds of two small objects, which you’ll then be able to reproduce in multiples by slip casting. At the end of the workshop, the goal is for you to have two plaster moulds ready to dry. After about 10 days of drying, you’ll be able to test them with casting slip during a member session. 🔅 PROGRAM 🔅 🔸 Exercises to understand the negative and positive of shapes 🔸 Learn how to recognize which objects can be moulded in one part (and which require more) 🔸 Preparing the box frame for your two small objects 🔸 Mixing plaster, learning the right tools and techniques 🔸 Completing two moulds, ready to dry before testing with slip casting 👉 Please note: to ensure you finish within the timeframe, the size of your objects will be limited. 🔅 PRICE 🔅 🔸 €189 🔸 Includes: All plaster and tools needed to create your moulds Casting slip to test each mould once (about 10 days later, during a member session) Firing of your first slip-casted piece (1 per mould) Not included: glazing time nor the member session needed to come back to cast your pieces. Members can glaze and cast their pieces during member sessions. Non-members can join a Glazing Intro class to glaze their bisque-fired work. 🔅 LEVEL 🔅 Open to beginners, no previous plaster experience needed. 🔅 SMALL GROUP 🔅 🔸 Maximum 6 participants (12 hands) for personalized guidance 🔸 Minimum 4 participants required for the workshop to take place (otherwise rescheduled or refunded) Please wear clothes that can get messy! ⚠️ TERMS & CONDITIONS ⚠️ 🔸 Plaster moulds need about 10 days of drying before testing. 🔸 Pieces cannot be taken home immediately.

📜 Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change and that it may sometimes be necessary to cancel your workshop. To ensure fairness for both our participants and instructors, the following cancellation policy applies: 🥝 1. Cancellation Requests All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@studio-kiwi.com 🥝 2. Refund Policy 🔸 More than 2 weeks before the workshop date: The workshop fee will be refunded minus a 10% administrative fee, or rescheduled at no cost. 🔸 Between 1 and 2 weeks before the workshop date: 50% of the workshop fee will be refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee. 👉 If a replacement is found for your spot (by you or Studio Kiwi), the workshop can be rescheduled at no cost. 🔸 Less than 1 week before the workshop date: The workshop fee is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. 👉 If a replacement is found for your spot (by you or Studio Kiwi), the workshop can be rescheduled at no cost. 🥝 3. Cancellations by Studio Kiwi In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund of the workshop fee. We will also do our best to notify you as soon as possible and to find a new date for the workshop. By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this cancellation policy.
