Description du service
Over four Tuesday evenings, we’ll explore how to throw with more intention, more clarity, and more ease. You’ll revisit the foundations from a new angle, learn to correct old habits, push your forms a bit further, and discover the quiet satisfaction that comes from gaining real control on the wheel. This series is warm, supportive, and quietly focused, a place where small adjustments lead to steady growth and where every participant follows their own rhythm. 🔅 PROGRAM 🔅 Across four evenings, you’ll work on: • Strengthening your centering and improving accuracy • Throwing cylinders with cleaner walls and better intention • Exploring bowls, cups, and intermediate shapes • Increasing height and consistency from piece to piece • Advancing your trimming technique for clean, confident feet • Developing your eye for form and balance Instead of rushing to produce more pieces, this cycle focuses on refinement, how it feels to guide the clay, how to read the movement of the wheel, and how to cultivate smoother, more reliable technique. By the end, you’ll feel more grounded, more fluid, and more capable of shaping the forms you imagine. 🔅 PRICE 🔅 🔸 Includes all the clay and the firings for your thrown and trimmed pieces made during the cycle 🔸 Glazing is not included, see below 🔅 SMALL GROUP 🔅 Maximum 8 pairs of hands, ensuring guidance for each thrower and space to let your practice evolve at your own rhythm. 🔅 AFTER THE COURSE 🔅 Your pieces need time to dry and be fired, so you cannot take them home right away 😉 You are warmly invited to continue practicing during our member sessions, where you can book a wheel and keep exploring your shapes, your questions, and your own creative direction. 🔅 GLAZING 🔅 Around 10 days later, your work will be bisque-fired and ready to glaze. You may choose: 🔸 If you haven't glazed in our studio, join a Glazing Intro Class 🔸 If you already know glazing, book a table during a Member Session 🔸 Or let us glaze your pieces for you with a glossy transparent glaze for €5 per piece + firing volume ⚠️ TERMS AND CONDITIONS ⚠️ 🔸 Please ensure you can attend all 4 evenings, as the learning builds progressively from one session to the next. Courses are usually full, so we cannot move participants between groups. 🔸 If you do not finish during class hours, you may continue your pieces during member sessions by booking a table. This is not included in the course fee.
